KB was already in a complex legal process when we started working together. As well as divorce proceedings, there were also non-molestation injunction proceedings, Children Act proceedings, and financial court proceedings.
It was made harder by the fact that her husband exhibited strong narcissistic personality traits.
KB had a solicitor and a therapist but needed additional support from me to help navigate through the complex legal proceedings and most importantly guidance on how to manage her emotional state when it came to her toxic husband.
Controlling and bullying
It was a long-term marriage with 4 children of different ages.
The husband was controlling and bullying throughout the marriage and my client needed help moving forward from this, to do the best for herself in the legal process.
She kindly agreed to answer some questions about the work we have been doing together. Here is her story, in her own words:

I realise each divorce is different and mine is a particularly acrimonious and difficult one but every divorce is stressful and every divorce requires legal participation.

There is always a way to solve each of the hurdles that you encounter, which were many in my case.
